I took 70 and then 60 to go across NM and AZ to phenix. 2 lane roads 65 mph went through an apache resoirvation(boy did they get screwed-there isn't a river with water in it!). 100 miles before phenix I was at 4600 feet (altitude) then ran down on route 60 as if it was carved into the mountains (even on tunnel)! what a ride I'm tired just thinking of it! phenix is huge and at 4 pm westcoast time (3 hours difference) it was 110 degrees! I am 1 day out of vagas and beverly is due mon. I guess I'll have to meander a little. there aren't many road outside the cities but I find some-charlie
