at this harley
facility only aurthorised personnel can enter the property! notice the
bar and shield at the entrance is blacked out! spying is a
concern-after I disregarded the signs that claimed only employees could
enter(obviously they were wrong I got in) I noticed that it was a non
smoking facility and engineers and techs were outside smoking so I went
over and started talking to them and told them how I was fore filling
my dreams and we were talking hot licks and cold steel and having a
groovy time when security came up and told me I would have to leave.
well they all started bitching to the head of security that it was sat.
and I was no threat and that he should let me see what's going on and
what these guys do for a living! it was great! after about 30 minutes I
got 10-15 minutes inside and security made it clear in a nice way that
no camera and that I could be jepordising his job(one of the engineers
said that I was his brother). the r&d is amazing engines running
red hot-new generation of v-rod engines-machining centers-it only
happened because it was sat.-what a treat to see how much development
goes in to what we think is old technology!-lucky day for me that's for
sure!-chicago was the pits to drive through even on sat. but what a
skyline! I went through thinking that on sat. I'd be able to get some
nice pics(I should stop trying to think).-time to go home(of course
I'll have to stop in syracuse for ribs)-should be home mon. night if
