route 90 from del rio to el paso is an amasing road two lanes 75 mph no one on the road. nice sweepers coming out of the canyons. just tolally empty. I was fortunate that for about four hours I got to drive through off and on, a thunderstorm like I've never seen(I was hoping for tornatoes) wind guts so high that I had to slow to 65 mph and was still being blown around,rain the size of quarters and the lightning was great all at between noon and four. the temp differences were extreme 67 degrees during the rain and just before getting in to el paso 114 degrees-and I thought new england weather changed alot!-charlie
